Aspirations in Computing Reception & Awards Ceremony
The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a non-profit community of more than 1,240 universities, companies, non-profits, and government organizations nationwide working to increase girls’ and women’s meaningful participation in computing. The UTEP College of Engineering and the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Awards identify, recognize and encourage young women for their aspirations and achievements in computing. Awardees are selected for their computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.
